When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you choose to provide (username, avatar). When you create or interact with dayzips, we store the content you submit, including trip details, stops, photos, and any associated metadata.
We also collect standard usage data such as pages visited, timestamps, and device/browser type for the purpose of improving the platform. We do not sell this data.
We will never sell your personal information to third parties or use it for purposes unrelated to Dayzips.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on infrastructure provided by Amazon Web Services. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access to user data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
We use cookies and local storage solely to maintain your login session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Dayzips uses Supabase for authentication and database services, and Mapbox for map rendering. These services operate under their own privacy policies. Photos are stored in Supabase Storage (AWS S3-backed).
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can delete your account from your profile settings, which will remove your personal information from our systems, however Dayzips you have created will be retained in use in an anonymized form.
If you would like to remove a specific photo from a published dayzip — for example, a photo that contains your likeness — please contact us at info [at] dayzips.com with the link to the dayzip and a description of the photo. We will process removal requests within 30 days.
